As the world of Education Technology and Assistive Technology merge and grow together in the various educational settings, I like to remind myself that technology is not just these high tech devices.  Technology is in fact, that pencil grip that you add to the kindergartener's pencil, the slant board that increases a child's reading view, etc.

Technology is by definition "The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes."
